Fraser Thomas has been extensively involved in the design and/or development of multiple sportsfield upgrades within the Auckland region, with Opaheke Sportsfield and Crum Park being two of our most recent projects for Auckland Council.

Recently, Fraser Thomas has been sub-contracted by the New Zealand Sports Turf Institute to assist with works on the following parks:

  • Margaret Griffen Park #1 and #2 fields – This field is to be used for League (Bay Roskill) play and training in winter, and athletics and Chinese star sports association during the summer
  • Mt Wellington War Memorial # 2 field – This field is used for Rugby and Cricket
  • Colin Maiden Park #1 and #2 fields – This field is used for Rugby and Cricket
  • Walker Park #2 and #3 fields – This field is to be used for rugby, football, cricket and athletics

Services Fraser Thomas will be providing include:

  • Topographical Surveys
  • Earthworks Modelling
  • Environmental Investigation (NES: Preliminary Site Investigation (PSI))
  • Lighting Towers:
  1. Geotechnical Investigation and Reporting, Construction Observation and Certification
  2. Structural Design of Foundations, Structural Site Inspections
