Fraser Thomas is excited to announce we can now offer our consultancy services to Central Otago and Hawkes Bay clients following the opening of offices in Cromwell and Napier.

Currently celebrating our 50^th year in business after commencing operations in Papatoetoe, Auckland, in 1969, Fraser Thomas is a multi-disciplinary consultancy providing expertise in resource management, engineering and surveying.  The Napier branch, led by experienced Chartered Civil and Environmental Engineer Son Nguyen, can offer the full gamut of Survey, contaminated land and Engineering services.  Managing Director, Greg Maddren, explains the reasons for the move.  “Hawkes Bay is a growing region and we feel we have the experience and expertise to assist with this growth.”

Fraser Thomas is now well established in Canterbury, operating from Christchurch since 2013.  Initially, we concentrated on rebuild work, with our Geotechnical and Structural Engineering teams providing expertise associated with the assessment of earthquake-related damage and the determination of appropriate repair strategies.  However, we now provide all manner of expertise to a range of clients requiring assistance with Land Development; Surveying; Structural, Geotechnical and Civil Engineering, and contaminated land.

Company Director, Mason Reed, who also leads the Christchurch team, explains the rationale behind the move.  “Central Otago is showing phenomenal growth in population and tourism (as well as in horticulture and viticulture) and there is evidence of a need for high quality residential and commercial development to support this growth.  Fraser Thomas is well placed, given its level of expertise in land development projects, to assist clients to achieve this.”
