12 Mar 30 Years and Still on Solid Ground
In April, we celebrate a substantial milestone for our Environmental Engineering Director, who is about to mark 30 years with Fraser Thomas, having joined us in 1996 (yes, pre-millennium and pre-smartphones) as an Environmental Engineer.
Over three decades, Sean has played a pivotal role in shaping our environmental services. He manages our Environmental Department, established our contaminated land practice area, which he continues to grow, and holds the respected Certified Environmental Practitioner – Contaminated Land (CEnvP-CL) accreditation. Under his leadership, both the environmental and contamination teams have developed into the close-knit, highly regarded teams they are today.
Widely respected and genuinely well-liked, Sean is known not only for his extensive technical expertise but also for his steady leadership and good humour. In earlier years he was a regular sight cycling to work, until the arrival of a company car, making pedals optional. Outside the office Sean has tackled balancing professional life with keeping pace with his three children.
Thirty years on, Sean’s contributions to our company, his teams, and the wider environmental engineering industry, have been significant. We’re proud to celebrate this milestone with him, and are grateful for the experience, commitment and leadership he continues to brings to the company.
