A truly rewarding project to be part of, we recently completed seismic strengthening of the historic chapel at Diocesan School for Girls, after structural investigations revealed seismic capacity shortfalls.
Our team designed a sensitive strengthening solution with new foundations, discreet bracing, and reconstruction of key architectural elements, supported by construction monitoring. The result is a safer, more resilient chapel, preserved for future generations, without losing its heritage charm.
This project has been shortlisted for the 2026 Auckland Architecture Awards and is a finalist in the 2026 Property Industry Awards.
