From State House to Architecture Award

Auckland’s Construkt Associates were awarded the 2020 ADNZ Resene Architectural Design Awards for their extension to an existing 1940’s house in Auckland. Fraser Thomas’ Geotechnical Department was involved in the early stages of this development, providing foundation investigation services to help ascertain the feasibility of the renovation works. These services investigated the bearing capacity of the underlying soils to determine whether the current ground stability and composition would sufficiently support the proposed development.
