Our sponsorship policy started as an avenue for brand exposure, but it’s become something a lot more meaningful. Yes, the funding is great for the local community, and yes, we are getting our name out there, but we are also seeing the difference that our support provides, for both kids and adults, to the quality and reliability of services that sports and recreational facilities can provide. To us, being able to make a positive impact like this on our environment is incredibly rewarding.
Which leads to this announcement, Fraser Thomas has proudly added Howick-Pakuranga Baseball Club to our list of sponsorships. Also known as the Hawks, the club was established in 1991, and is currently the largest baseball club in NZ. Based at Lloyd Elsmore Park in Pakuranga, Auckland, the Hawks are strongly represented across all age groups at team events, regularly winning senior and age group national titles, with a number of players involved in overseas baseball programmes, including playing professionally and attending universities and colleges in the US. We wish them all the best for upcoming seasons.
